UiPath and Snowflake launch two-way link between governed data and automation
UiPath and Snowflake announced a two-way integration that lets enterprises reference Snowflake data in UiPath workflows and invoke automation from Snowflake CoCo.

The integration lets UiPath workflows reference Snowflake records without copying them and allows Snowflake CoCo users to invoke UiPath automation skills through configured connections.
UiPath and Snowflake announced an expanded two-way integration on 30 September 2026, connecting governed data in Snowflake with enterprise automations run through UiPath. Joint customers can reference Snowflake information in workflows and initiate automation from Snowflake’s CoCo interface, extending a partnership that previously connected UiPath with Snowflake Cortex AI.
According to UiPath’s official announcement, the arrangement combines zero-copy access through UiPath Data Fabric, a route for CoCo to invoke UiPath automation skills, and a listing on Snowflake Marketplace. The company describes these as ways to move between data analysis and operational work without first replicating Snowflake records into a separate workflow database.
UiPath Data Fabric can read Snowflake records without copying them
UiPath Data Fabric can model fields from Snowflake as federated entities. Rather than maintaining another stored version of those fields, the platform retrieves values from the external system when an automation queries them. Its federated-entity documentation describes these entities as read-only views, with the underlying data remaining in the originating system.
The architecture is intended to let teams supply workflows with current business context. UiPath’s access-control documentation specifies that access to federated entities is governed by Data Fabric entity-level permissions and the permissions associated with the underlying Integration Service connection. Its September release notes also specify that queries over external data require filtering and are subject to result limits. A zero-copy connection does not provide unrestricted access to every record.
Data Fabric reached general availability in UiPath Automation Cloud on 22 September 2026. The Snowflake announcement builds on that capability, rather than introducing an entirely new storage or data-governance platform.
Snowflake CoCo can invoke UiPath automation skills
The other direction of the integration operates through Snowflake CoCo. UiPath says CoCo users can access its agentic skills library and launch automation tasks from within the Snowflake environment. Those skills are supplied through the integration; they are not built into CoCo by default.
UiPath also named Delegate and Cartographer as tools that can use Snowflake Cortex connectivity through UiPath Integration Service. According to the announcement, these capabilities support discovery and analysis of Snowflake information during workflow design and execution.
UiPath becomes available through Snowflake Marketplace
UiPath said its platform is now listed on Snowflake Marketplace, providing another way for joint customers to discover and access its automation offerings. The announcement does not establish that every integration capability is automatically enabled in existing customer environments, nor does it provide independent performance or adoption results.
For organisations using Snowflake as a governed data source, the integration offers access to live business information during automated work and a way to initiate UiPath tasks from Snowflake’s AI interface. Actual deployment will depend on the integration components configured and the permissions available to users.
