Grievance Redressal
Last updated: September 2026
aiautomatein is committed to addressing legitimate concerns relating to material published on the website and the operation of the publication.
This page explains how readers, individuals, organisations and rights holders may raise concerns relating to published content, factual accuracy, attribution, privacy, copyright, editorial standards or other matters connected with aiautomatein.
The website is currently being developed and its grievance arrangements will be updated as the publication’s formal operating and regulatory requirements are finalised.
Where a grievance falls within an applicable statutory grievance-redressal framework, aiautomatein intends to handle it in accordance with the requirements in force at the relevant time.

- copyright or other intellectual-property issues;
- editorial treatment or compliance with the Editorial Policy;

How to submit a concern or grievance
Concerns may currently be sent to:
Please provide enough information for the matter to be identified and reviewed.
Where possible, include the title and URL of the relevant page or article, the particular statement, image or material concerned, an explanation of the issue, any supporting evidence or documentation available, and the outcome or correction you are requesting.
Incomplete information may make it difficult to assess a complaint.
What happens after a grievance is received?
aiautomatein will review the material complained of together with the information supplied by the complainant.
Depending on the circumstances, the review may also involve examination of source material, technical records, published documentation, editorial records, correspondence, legal requirements or information provided by another affected party.
Submitting a complaint does not itself establish that the content is inaccurate, unlawful or required to be removed.
A complaint may result in:
- no change where the existing material is supported;
- correction of a factual error;
- clarification;
- an update;
- amendment of attribution or supporting material;
- amendment or removal of an image or link;
- restriction of access where appropriate;
- removal where justified or legally required; or
- another proportionate response appropriate to the circumstances.
Response times
Where the grievance is subject to the grievance-redressal requirements applicable to publishers under Part III of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the current Rules provide for acknowledgement of a grievance within 24 hours and a publisher-level decision within 15 days. Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
Other requests may require different periods depending on their nature, complexity, the evidence available and any applicable legal requirement.
Corrections and editorial complaints
Factual corrections and complaints concerning editorial standards are reviewed in accordance with the Editorial Policy.
aiautomatein distinguishes between a factual error and a disagreement with an editorial conclusion.
A request for more favourable wording does not by itself establish that a correction is required.
Sponsored and paid content
Concerns about sponsored, branded, partner or other paid commercial content may also be submitted through this grievance process where they concern matters such as inaccurate claims, inadequate commercial disclosure, rights violations or other substantive issues.
The fact that content has been paid for does not prevent aiautomatein from correcting, clarifying, restricting or removing it where appropriate.
Commercial disagreements arising solely from a contract with an advertiser or sponsor may instead be handled under the relevant commercial agreement.
Copyright and intellectual-property complaints
If you believe material published on aiautomatein infringes copyright or another intellectual-property right, please identify the protected work, the material complained of, its URL, the nature of the alleged infringement and your relationship to the rights concerned.
aiautomatein may request evidence of ownership or authority before acting on a rights claim.
A complaint does not automatically require removal where the relevant use may be licensed, authorised, permitted by applicable law or otherwise lawful.
Privacy concerns
Privacy-related requests may be submitted to:
They will be considered together with the Privacy Policy, the context in which the information is being processed or published and applicable law.
A privacy request does not automatically create a right to remove accurate published editorial material.
Requests concerning published individuals or organisations
A person or organisation referred to in an article may raise concerns about accuracy, privacy, attribution, legal restrictions or another substantive issue.
The fact that published material is critical, commercially inconvenient or unfavourable does not by itself establish that it should be altered or removed.
Requests are assessed according to the evidence, applicable law and aiautomatein’s editorial standards.
Good-faith complaints
Grievances should be submitted in good faith and should provide information reasonably sufficient to identify the issue.
aiautomatein may take appropriate steps where a grievance appears to involve impersonation, fraud, deliberate falsification, harassment, abuse of the grievance process or other unlawful conduct.
This does not prevent a person from making a genuine complaint or disagreeing with an editorial decision.
Confidentiality and personal information
Information submitted as part of a grievance will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared internally or with advisers, service providers, authorities, self-regulatory bodies or other persons where reasonably necessary to assess the matter, respond to it, comply with law or exercise or defend legal rights.
Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive personal information when submitting a grievance.
Statutory grievance mechanism
aiautomatein handles complaints and concerns relating to published material in accordance with applicable law and the policies of the publication. Where a statutory grievance, escalation, review, reporting or other prescribed procedure applies to a particular matter, the relevant requirements will be followed.
Nothing in this grievance process limits any right or remedy that may be available to a complainant under applicable law.

Regulatory requirements
aiautomatein will maintain such grievance-handling, regulatory and compliance arrangements as are required for its activities under applicable law.
Where any appointment, registration, disclosure, filing, reporting obligation or other regulatory requirement is legally applicable to the publication, the required steps and public disclosures will be made in accordance with the law in force at the relevant time.
This page may be updated where necessary to reflect changes in applicable requirements or in the publication’s operations.
Other legal rights
Nothing in this grievance process is intended to prevent a person from exercising a right or remedy available under applicable law.
Submission of a grievance, acknowledgement of a grievance or review of a complaint does not by itself constitute an admission of liability, wrongdoing or legal obligation beyond those arising under applicable law.
